Cauliflower wings/bites can be fried, baked or air-fried with your favorite BBQ sauce, Hot Sauce or Asian sauce. It's "Your Wing", do what you want with it!
1 head of cauliflower
1/2 cup milk for vegan milk
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp of olive or grapeseed oil
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp of paprika
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground pepper
Oven Bake: Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Preheat your oven to 400F.
Air Fryer: Lightly grease (follow the instructions for your brand).
Pan Fry: Medium high heat.
Wash and cut cauliflower head into bite-sized pieces/florets.
Mix the milk, flour and spices in a medium mixing bowl. Mix until the batter is thick and is able to coat the cauliflower without dripping.
Dip the cauliflower in the batter. I throw them all in the batter at one time to coat. Shake off excess batter before placing cauliflower on the baking sheet/Air fryer/Pan. Lay the cauliflower single layer.
Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown, flipping the florets over halfway through to get all sides golden brown and crispy.
While the cauliflower is cooking, get your favorite sauce ready.
Serve with vegan ranch, blue cheese, or your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy with sides are in a vegan Naan, Pita or bun!
